I've been in sales for over 30 years and in real estate since 2005. In 2010, I further developed my skills as a REALTOR® by successfully obtaining my designation as an Accredited Buyer Representative. The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council ("REBAC") of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) to those REALTORS® who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria. The ABR® accreditation process provided me with valuable real estate training that elevates my skills and knowledge for home buyers. And the ongoing specialized information, programs and updates help me stay on top of the issues and trends important to home buyers. This is instrumental in helping me understand buyers’ needs and translates into successful transactions for my clients.
My many years spent selling Internet driven applications gives me a thorough understanding of our now Internet-driven real estate market. I know how to successfully use web-based tools and social media in order to reach more clients and maximize property exposure. The result has been proven in maximizing traffic to my sellers’ properties both online and in person.
I spent several years honing my skills in Product Marketing with corporate giant AT&T. This too is an essential part of the service I offer. Although Sales & Marketing are often referred to in the same breath, they are two distinct skill-sets and provide different services that complement each other to ensure positive results.d To successfully sell to a market segment, you first have to know how to market to it.
I also spent many years working in international markets in Asia, Europe, Australia and in the US. This has allowed me to fine-tune my negotiating skills and learn how to effectively negotiate within diverse cultural markets. This translates into a better understanding of clients in a multi-cultural city like Toronto. In some cases, part of an effective marketing campaign is to be able to communicate to a targeted audience within the broadest segment of the public. To convey a message that appeals to the same type of buyer within different social and economical communities come naturally to me.
